No threat of rain in the forecast could keep Thomas and Anna from tying the knot! When the ceremony time came, the sky cleared and it was the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony at Carolina Grove. The love between Thomas and Anna was clear and it was beautiful to see two people who truly love each other. My personal favorite moment was the first look; we did one with the groom and one with the father of the bride and both were such wonderful moments that I was so happy to be able to capture.
The reception decor matched the playfulness of the couple. The tables were set with mismatched tableware and napkins which added an element of whimsy. I especially loved that the centerpieces were created using the same items, but the combinations were different. It tied all the tables in together without making them match exactly.
Carolina Grove was absolutely stunning! The main reception space was open and airy and had plenty of room for tables and for dancing the night away. But it doesn’t stop there. One side of the reception space is lined with garage doors making it easy to bring the outdoors in. The covered patio is perfect for cocktail hour or a pre-ceremony cocktail! Speaking of places to host a cocktail hour or pre-ceremony drink, Carolina Grove has a hidden secret…A vault! I’m obsessed with this venue! And I haven’t even mentioned how beautiful the dressing rooms are. With so much versatility and airiness this venue is more than anything I could have imagined!
