Our family took an international trip last week! I had the opportunity to shoot Jessi and Chris’s engagement session in London before they got married! Jessi is our family friend and adopted sister. In addition to taking photos of my favorite couple, we got to see the sights and walk around the central London area. It was such a wonderful vacation and I can’t wait to go back!
Jessi and my sister have been best friends since elementary school. They hung out all the time and constantly played with Barbie dolls. I was the annoying little sister who just had to hang out with them too! I always looked up to Jessi growing up. She was so talented and kind and was just the sweetest and funniest person I know. She was an amazing dancer, actor, and singer! She was actually a performer on the Disney cruise line for about seven years. That’s where she met her fiance Chris! He was a bartender on the ship. He currently lives in England and Jessi moved there a couple of years ago to be with him.
We got up early to take pictures around central London. Of course, it wouldn’t be London without overcast or rainy weather. However, Jessi and Chris brightened up the session with their sweet smiles and energetic personalities. We walked about two miles and stopped at different spots along the way until we got to the London Eye. This ended up being such a great backdrop for photos. I loved having the River Thames in the background too! It was like an extra character in their photos. To make their session even more memorable, they brought their sweet dog Drax to the photos. He is just the cutest and they love him so much!
My husband Robby and I love to travel and visit new places! I love shooting at different destinations (especially somewhere tropical) around the world. I have photographed weddings in Paris, Jamaica, and now an engagement session in London. If you’re planning a destination engagement or wedding, I would love to talk more details with you.
