Golden hour sun, sailboats, and unwavering love is the perfect combination for couples portraits! Landry and Landon’s engagement session in Carolina Beach was beautiful! Between the glistening water and their choice of outfits, this kind of portrait session is one I can’t wait to do again!
Landry and Landon have been together for eight years. They met in high school and started dating during their freshman year of high school in Kentucky. The summer going into their sophomore year, Landry moved to North Carolina and they broke up. However, they kept in touch over the years. The first day of Landry’s freshman year at East Carolina University, Landon sent her a text and wished her a happy school year. From that point on, they never stopped talking. Landon traveled to ECU for Landry’s sorority formal and they starting dating again. They continued to have a long distance relationship and Landon moved to North Carolina during Landry’s senior year to be closer.
Landon and Landry got engaged at Fort Fisher in May of 2024. Some of their favorite activities to do together include loving on their toy poodle, Banks and trying new recipes and cooking at home. They like discovering good shows and movies to watch. Landon and Landry love to discover new restaurants and enjoy traveling.
This sweet couple rented a sailboat for this session and we took pictures on the boat for their engagement portraits. Before we actually got on the boat, we started with some pictures on the deck. It ended up being such a cute and cuddly session on the boat. We captured some dreamy portraits, showing how much this sweet couple’s true love for each other.
Landry received a degree in wedding planning and has helped and worked with different florists. She is going to be an absolute pro when it comes to planning her and Landon’s wedding. He won’t have to worry about a thing! They currently live in Wake Forest and are super excited to married here in Wilmington. Landry and Landon’s wedding will take place at Wrightsville Manor.
