A first look with groom is not the only first look you can do on your wedding day. Other options would be a the daddy/daughter first look, and a first look with your bridal party. Most people have heard of the daddy/daughter first look, but not all have heard of a first look with your girls. more on this to below!
The Daddy/Daughter First look
This is for all of the brides who have a sweet spot in their heart for their dad. I have to admit that Daddy/Daughter first looks make me a little teary. For a lot of Dads, this is when everything feels real and it hits him… “My baby girl is getting MARRIED!” These are precious moments to photograph and I highly encourage any Daddy’s girl to make time in their timeline for this moment. It doesn’t take long at all! The hardest part is making sure Dad shows up on time! If Dad doesn’t show up on time, the whole timeline can get thrown off, or we’ll have to skip the Daddy/Daughter first look. Another sweet idea we’ve seen is having the father of the bride escort the bride to her first look!
First Look with your Bridesmaids
Wait to show your bridesmaids your wedding dress and surprise them!I A bridesmaids’ first look is exactly what it sounds like: a first look with your girls! Basically, you’ll get into your wedding dress and accessories in a room separate from your girls, usually with the help of your MOH, mom, or other women that you are closest with. From there, I will organize a big reveal with your bridesmaids where they see you all at once! You can expect lots of squeals, hugs, giggles, and happy tears! I promise you will not regret it! All your closest friends seeing the stunning bride for the first time is very magical.
